Description

"Turning the envelope over, his hand trembling, Harry saw a purple wax seal bearing a coat of arms; a lion, an eagle, a badger and a snake surrounding a large letter 'H'."

Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Part of the whole reason why I bought these books was so I can read them at night time without having to bright of lights in my face The story obviously I have no words they simply leave me speechless that's all I can say about the Harry Potter books & movies in two words is perfection & speechless but I'm not liking the way this is designed & theirs not much "enhanced" done to these books

I love the Harry Potter series and I would like them to continue
  • Always loved these books, this version however...

I want to start by saying I have always loved these books. Having read the originals more times then I care to count. This version was a let down, NOT WORTH THE MONEY, the enhancements were little more then sketches or gifs (not the best quality and often of irrelevant subjects/objects). This generation of books has also been re-written, simplified and gave more story away in the first book. The versions I had read in the past were the ones that came out before the series was finished, which were much better! If you are looking to read Harry Potter for the first time, or if you've only read these newer versions, I recommend finding the older versions of the books (the British release if you can).
  • Excellent books, needs work

The stories are excellent, no question, but there is no option for nighttime view. In the dark the screen is too dark even on the lowest setting, so getting a dark mode would be a huge benefit for nighttime readers. The added things are pretty neat, but does not really contribute a lot to this version of the text
  • Add night mode reading pls!

  • Great story as usual but...

Enjoyed reading the stories again, but I did not enjoy the fact that there's no night mode for reading and not many of the images were animated and if they were, movements were so minor. Why say animated when it's such a small detail? This product could have been way better. Three stars for the story but none for the images.
