Drained, book one in the Agent Hank Rawlings Series of FBI Thrillers

A known serial killer is once again taking lives in Chicago. Bodies drained of blood are being strewn across the city.

For former Tampa homicide sergeant, Hank Rawlings, tracking down the man responsible for the killings becomes his first assignment at his new position, agent in the FBI's homicide division of the serial crimes unit.

Almost before the ink dries on the new job’s acceptance papers, Hank finds himself in Chicago, knee-deep in an investigation with a mounting body count.

While every lead brings him and his partner closer to the killer, the one that puts them directly in front of him threatens them most.

Loved it especially the new agent! Hen pecked, maybe but very comfortably so. Serial killer on a crime spree is also well defined.( all his characters are)! You won't be disappointed!

If you are 12-15 yrs old, prbly an ok read. Storyline is compelling enough. But if you enjoy reading don't bother unless your idea of good writing is: "“Yeah. I just got in the car. Send me over the address.” “Sure, you’ll see it in a second,” Beth said. “I’ll be watching for it.” “Okay. See you in a bit,” Beth said then hung up.” Excerpt From: Reinhard, E.H. “Drained.” " That's the depth of this novel. This book is rife with this boring/useless nonsense. Characters are flat. No research was done to include interesting or titillating info/tidbits. Poor writing overall unless written by a teenager - then I would say "great start, keep reading and hone your skills"
