Not Quite the Fairy Tale is a series of paranormal romance written for a mature audience. Expect adult language and naughty stuff. Each book is a stand alone.

“Let me tell you one thing, Beast: if your Prince ever returns, watch his back. There are thousands who would gladly throw daggers at it.”
And Belle would be first in line.

Ten years ago, he was Prince Aiden, heir of Jereena, at the top of the world – now, they call him Beast.
Aiden has landed on his feet, his exclusive club is the place to be, he makes hundreds of thousands a night.
What else could he possibly want?
Belle grew up during the Anarchy, and the corrupted system screwed her, big time, but she managed to get by.
Then, her stupid brother goes and steals from the Beast, who demands her as payment.
Well, her, a pile of cash, or her sister – option two and three aren’t acceptable.

  • Great concept, light read

    From Twisted Sister ^_^
The plot line of this fairy tale alternate reality is truly fantastic. The main characters of the story in Bell and the Beast, are far less two-dimensional than Disney's versions for sure, and I enjoyed their fallibility. Though some of the other characters in the story are given some depth, the story is too short it seems to really delve deeper into what you would think are pivotal players in this classic tale. It is an adult story which I enjoyed but I did feel like it's use wasn't maximized. I felt like I was slowly being seduced by each chapter as Bell and the Beast became enraptured by each other, with the interludes of graphic sexual content orbiting this couple acting as foreplay. When they finally converge on each other, in the climax of the reader/story relationship, I was left feeling disappointed. Overall I would say it was a great concept, decently written, with a fairly short and light read time, with a mostly satisfactory ending.
