  • Enjoyed this book a lot

    From Tenly
It’s hard to believe that a book of this quality was free and because of that, I didn’t expect much from it. Boy was I surprised. This book takes place in a well described, brilliantly envisioned far future with likable characters and well written interactions. I don’t want to say too much about it so I don’t spoil anything - but be forewarned that this book is not as “free” as the price tag might indicate since this one will get you hooked - and then you’ll have to buy all of the many sequels! But if the sequels are even half as good as Origins - they’ll be worth every penny!

Finally, a book that had me reading late into the night. I was hoping it wouldn't end! The author develops the characters in a quick but believable way, this is great science fiction. Reading his description of the writing process included at the end of the book really helped me appreciate the final result. I'm off to buy the next two in the series!
  • Great read!

Can't believe I picked up this gem as my first read on my iPhone. As much as the wife hated loosing me while I was immersed it was worth it!
  • I'll be back for more.

I'm a big science fiction fan. I've read the greats: Heinlein, Asimov, etc. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this ebook. The plot is well thought out and has no holes I could notice, and the characters are engaging and relatable. This book kept me distracted from college courses for a week, and I'm still getting over the lack of sleep from late nights turning it's virtual pages. I look forward to reading the rest of his author's works, and hope for many more sleepless nights spent in the world of Spinward Fringe.
