An Instant Classic and One of the Great Love Stories of Our Time

Andre Aciman's Call Me by Your Name is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents’ cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. Each is unprepared for the consequences of their attraction, when, during the restless summer weeks, unrelenting currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion and test the charged ground between them. Recklessly, the two verge toward the one thing both fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy. It is an instant classic and one of the great love stories of our time.

  • movie to book

    From Flyckt
I bought this book after watching the movie because I loved it so much. It ripped me open and shattered my heart into bits but I still love it. And maybe because it’s kinda my story. I remember when I was 17, I met someone older than me and we had relationship even I already knew he’s married. The book has more than the movie. It made me cry just like the movie. I’m out of words. Just finished reading it. I can’t describe what I’m feeling right now.
  • Bravo André. This is a masterpiece.

  • A touch to my heart

    From Rvgsg
This novel is beautiful. It is a timeless tale of the pains of passions. A reader feels what the main character "Elio" feels. The author writes simply but yet with complexity, with thousands of layers of meaning. I never wanted this book to end. I only wish to come a cross a gay novel as good as this one again sometime in my life.
