Includes Sir John Tenniel’s classic illustrations, along with a gallery of art from six different artists’ interpretations!
Mix equal parts creativity, bewilderment, and complete nonsense and you have Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. On a day that begins like any other, Alice notices a rabbit—a rabbit with a pocket watch. She chases after it and stumbles down a hole… and keeps falling and falling and falling. That’s when things start to get weird. She encounters a bizarre cast of characters — the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, a pipe-smoking caterpillar, the Pigeon, a Duchess, the Cook, and the decapitation-happy Queen of Hearts. It’s an adventure of completely intolerable logic, as witty as it is completely insane.

  • Fantastic!! A great read!

I have read parts and pieces of it, but never the whole book at once, until now. This made my imagination come alive, and with every sentence painted a new picture in my head. So much detail, and such careful choice of vocabulary. Excellent children's book, that will spark up any dull day. Where will your imagination take you today?

This is a very good book to begin with, and iBooks preserves all the formatting and pictures from the print copy. Impressed!
  • Totally amazing, an awesome adventure and classic

While some people claim that Carroll was on some sort of drug at the time of the book, I'd like to be a little more ignorant about it all and like to think that it was just a really heavily imagined world. It's not hard to understand that he was a special writer at the time what with his involvement with children, but the imagination and fantastical world that he built up is just ripe with colorful characters and situations. Everyone should read this book, young or old.
