If you want to build muscle, lose fat, and look great as quickly as possible without steroids, good genetics, or wasting ridiculous amounts of time in the gym and money on supplements...then you want to read this book.

Here's the deal:

Building muscle and burning fat isn't nearly as complicated as the fitness industry wants you to believe.

You don't need to spend hundreds of dollars per month on the worthless workout supplements that steroid-fueled bodybuilders “swear by.”

•You don't need to constantly change up your weightlifting exercises to build muscle mass. Muscle building is much simpler than that.

•You don't need to spend a couple of hours every day doing tons of weight training sets, supersets, drop sets, etc. In fact, this is a great way to get nowhere.

•You don't need to grind out hours of boring cardio to shed ugly belly fat and get a six-pack. You probably don’t have to do ANY cardio, actually.

•You don't need "clean eating" to get ripped and you don't need to avoid "cheat" foods. Flexible dieting is the real “secret” of effective bodybuilding nutrition.

Those are just a few of the harmful myths that keep guys like you from ever achieving the ripped, muscular, strong, and healthy bodies you truly desire.

And in this book you're going to learn something most people will never know...

The exact muscle building nutrition and training methods that make putting on 10 to 15 pounds of quality lean mass a breeze...and it only takes a few months.

This book reveals things like...

• The 7 biggest muscle building mistakes that keep guys small, weak, and frustrated.

• How to lose fat and build muscle eating all the foods you love...without ever feeling starved, deprived, or like you're "on a diet."

An all-in-one bodybuilding routine that will give you a big, full chest…a wide, tapered back…bulging arms…and thick, powerful just 3 to 6 hours of exercise per week...doing weight training workouts that you actually look forward to.

• A no-BS guide to bodybuilding supplements that will save you from wasting THOUSANDS of dollars each year on bunk science and marketing hype.

How to master the "inner game" of fitness and develop the self-discipline you need to build the body of your dreams. If you like bodybuilding motivation, this is for you!

•What to eat before and after your workouts to build muscle fast. It’s the “little” things like this that make bodybuilding diet plans maximally effective.

How to burn fat and build lean muscle while still indulging in the "cheat" foods that you love every week like pasta, pizza, and ice cream.

•And a whole lot more!

Imagine...just 12 weeks from now...being constantly complimented on how great you look and asked how the heck you’re doing it...

Imagine enjoying the added benefits of high energy levels, no aches and pains, better spirits, and knowing that you're getting healthier every day...

The bottom line is you CAN achieve that "Hollywood hunk" body without having your life revolve around it.

With this fitness book you'll also get a 98-page bonus report that contains a year's worth of Bigger Leaner Stronger bodybuilding workouts as well as Mike’s personal product and supplement recommendations and more!

  • Life Changing

    From SkiHard2002
All my life I have struggled (and yo-yo'ed) with my weight. I seem to be from a genetic pool of short, stocky bodies pre-disposed to the pear shape. I would cringe any time I would catch sight of my reflection, especially if I had my shirt off. I understand, and have felt, the fat shaming so prevalent in our society. In the summer of 2015 my personal life unexpectedly began to spiral out of control. In January of 2016 (at 1.71 m [5'8"], 85 kg [187 lbs] and 30+% body fat, not my heaviest either) in an attempt to regain control of my mental health, I began to focus on my physical health, using the app Couch-to-10K, to get back into running. In February my sister turned me on to the app MyFitnessPal and I began to track my macro nutrients. I was SHOCKED at what, and how many calories, I had been consuming. In April, 2016, I achieved my goal of running 12 km [7.5 miles] non-stop. Nearing my weight goal in June, I decided to hire a personal trainer, to keep me disciplined and focused, and to start building muscle. Then Google introduced me to Bigger, Leaner, Stronger and Mike Mathews. I have listened to the audiobook version twice and am just finishing reading the digital version for the first time. My life is forever changed. I know more about nutrition, how my body works and building muscle than I ever have, and most of my peers do. Know how your body works, treat it right, and it WILL respond. I had no idea just how easy it is to do this work. Mike's evidenced based approach to health and fitness resonates with my way of thinking. Mike's unbiased, transparent, no-nonsense approach and the information he shares is easy to understand and incorporate into my daily life. Now, at 68.1 kg [150.1 lbs] and 10.2% body fat, I am finally building the body I only ever dreamed of, and coveted. Now, when I catch a glimpse of my reflection, I smile. The changes in my physical health are mirrored in my mental health. I have never been happier or more confident in my life. As I approach the end of my first cut, I am filled with gratitude for where my journey has, and is, taking me and so very grateful to those, like Mike, who willingly share what they have learned. A simple thank you hardly seems enough for this gift of knowledge. But its the best I have. So thank you, Mike, and your team at Legion, for everything you do. You are giving us the tools to change our lives, to help us be healthier and happier. You are awesome!

This book is great for beginners and seasoned gym goers. I've been training for over 10 years and have not got the results I've always wanted until I came across this book. It really explains the no bs fundamentals about nutrition and training and far more. I treat it like the bible for training/nutrition and have recommended to all my friends and family because I truly believe it's that good!
  • The Real Deal!

    From Iancleslie
Mike offers years of lessons learned in this book. I was one who spent hours in the gym doing all sorts of exercises and set variations etc. He lays out a great workout program, and gives you all the knowledge needed to get started. If you want to develop your knowledge as well as your body this is where to go! I refer to this book all the time to stay motivated and keep learning. Don't hesitate - buy the book, read it, and do it! That's what it takes!
  • Important for everyone

    From Gmos204
I use this for my clients and they are making great progress. It’s tough workouts and shows you how to eat and lift all based in science. Mike covers the facets of bro science and explains what stands up to research and what does not.
  • Very insightful

    From Kev Makrev
If you're like me, and get overwhelmed with all the information out there on how to lose fat or gain muscle, this book is a must read. Mike lays everything out it easy to understand terms, and he backs up everything he says with scientific fact! This is not just a book, it's a manual worth referring back to again and again! Also, if you have any questions, you can email him directly and he will reply! True customer service at its best, I really can't say enough.
  • "Bigger Leaner Stronger” Get your results!

    From Jmek54
bought the book "Bigger Leaner Stronger" from apple so I could have it on iBooks and read it on the go right from my iPhone. I used to be quite overweight and over the years I've tried several different ways to lose weight and work out to build muscle. I ended up going on a calorie deficiency and boosted my activity level and lost the pounds. During this time I was always tired and felt like I barely had enough energy to make it through the day. I had read tons of info all over the internet and decided to start eating normal calories again with lean food, cutting out all the junk. I just recently came across the book Bigger Leaner Stronger this year, and I wish i had read it years ago so i could have been doing everything properly from the start! I am now strictly following the workout routines in the book and now on my third week I have noticed quite significant strength gains. I am very happy and feel more knowledgable about my body, health and how it functions. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about bettering their lifestyle and getting in shape. Read "Bigger Leaner Stronger" and get the results you want by doing your bulking/building or cutting/sliming right the first time. Dont waste your time spending hours in the gym working out wrong..
  • Awesome

    From jwl.eel
I'm not a personal trainer but I've worked out for years and one who reads many workout books from calisthenics to bodybuilding, I have to say this was an amazing read. Most books focus on the exercises one will be doing (don't get me wrong, it's important to know how to have proper form when exercising but there is more than enough books and videos for that) and only have a short chapter on nutrition. I've come to realize in my life that nutrition is very important to being successful in achieving a certain look and increasing strength and I feel most books don't highlight this enough. This book not only had a huge part on nutrition and supplements but explained it in a way that is easy to understand. Nutrition can become overwhelming especially if what you're doing isn't working, how to know what to do next. The book explained how to adjust accordingly and it makes you realize it's not as difficult as we may think it is to eat in a way to reach our goals. The workout program that one will be following if they choose to is very clear, didn't leave me with unanswered questions that many other books do. I could go on and on but this is long enough. I haven't come across a book like this in a few years, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did.
