Look out for Jojo’s new book, Still Me, the next book featuring Louisa Clark from Me Before You and After You, coming soon!

They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose . . .

Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has barely been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

A Love Story for this generation and perfect for fans of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, Me Before You brings to life two people who couldn’t have less in common—a heartbreakingly romantic novel that asks, What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?

Such a wonderful read that I couldn't put it down! I loved the movie and the book didn't disappoint. Now onto After You....
  • Me before you

Sad to glorify suicide. So sad I wasted hours reading this.
  • Wonderful novel

    From ydnewreads
I read the entire book in 2 days. I couldn't put it down. You will experience laughter, you will cry, you will maybe question your morals regarding certain sensitive topics... You may also end up drinking a gin and tonic when you reach the last page... who knows. But I'm certain you will love it!
  • Difficulty with Will's decision

    From Rinmer
While I did finish reading the book, I had extreme difficulty with Will's viewpoint that life wasn't worth living if he had to live in a wheelchair. What an incredibly ableist, biased, and potentially dangerous viewpoint. I'm surprised there isn't more outcry about this.
  • my opinions

this book brought me to tears! Its a story that will be in your mind for a ling time because its not an ending that you imagine. Its a book were it faces reality of people being disabeled and how they feel about it. I find that wasting 9$ on this book is worth it. Even after finishing the book, im still crying on how sad or amazing the book has ended! my tears can be happy or sad. i highly recommend this book!

  • What A Loaded Book ... WOW

    From Melissa_Rose90
Wow ... Heading into this book I was aware that it was a tearjerker; but I somehow envisioned a lighter read than this. Not to say that I was disappointed; I was completely enthralled with this novel and its characters. I felt that the author put a great amount of time and research into crafting a topical plot whilst portraying the characters and situations as accurately and fairly as possible. Moyes has really made me think about the quality of life and living to ones' potential. Additionally, through the plot Moyes has established a good argument for and against Dignitas and assisted suicide. Ultimately, "Me Before You" was an insightful and entertaining read. That being said, I did take exception to Louisa’s family. I found them to be unduly cruel to their oldest daughter; who by the way was the main breadwinner for the family. To put it simply ... I binge read "Me Before You" in just over a day. I just couldn't seem to put it down. All in all, It is fair to say that this book is one that will be sticking with me for some time. Next up I shall have to obtain a copy of the follow up, "After You."
