  • Lots of great information, but keep your personal expectations low

    From OtherSean671
This book was a good read full of useful tips and advice to getting your finances in order, something we all need to pay attention to. Having said that, pay close attention to their sample numbers. Not that I found any fault with their math, but many of their examples are based on a 25 year old individual with a starting wage of $40,000 per year and an annual increase for 4%. In my personal experience, these numbers are not typical. The advice in the book will still work for you if you make less, but don't expect your savings to be as large or grow as quickly. Keep your goals realistic relative to your means.

  • Great intro for busy professionals who don't take time to understand the fundamentals.
