  • Incredibly easy to read, very immersive

    From SJPaladin
I got this book for free from Bookbub. I expected it to be total crap. I got bored and read it months later. I could not stop. I finished it in less than three days (including work shifts and other things getting in my way). I won't give away too much of the plot. It is autobiographical in nature. The fictional protagonist is telling his story from a future vantage point. It is well written, easy to understand and very flowing. The pacing is rather even, and although the action comes and goes, it never gets bogged down. The story is believable (in a world where psychics exist) and it follows its own rules. The characters are each distinct and consistent.
