The Inferno has Evolved… Lana Harvey is a reaper, and a lousy one at that. She resides in Limbo City, the modern capital of the collective afterlives, where she likes to stick it to the man (the legendary Grim Reaper himself) by harvesting the bare minimum of souls required of her. She’d much rather be hanging out with Gabriel, her favorite archangel, at Purgatory Lounge. But when a shocking promotion falls in her lap, Lana learns something that could unravel the very fabric of Eternity. If the job isn’t completed, there could be some real hell to pay.

  • A fantastic start to a fun series

    From MrsBeamish
I throughly enjoy the writing style of the author, she gave each character its own unique voice while still telling the story through the protagonist’s eyes. The story line was fun and followable. I loved the idea of Eternity as a open realm for all religions to meet. Josie and Gabriel were fantastic supporting characters and I hope to see more of them.

  • So good!

    From RavenPrince
I have no idea why this book only has a 4/5! It was funny and interesting, one of those books you can't put down and finish entirely too quickly. Loved it!
  • Graveyard Shift

I have read many ebooks in the past year, and have noticed most of them contain many more grammatical errors/omissions than the printed books I'm used to. This book was an exception; it was pleasantly free of distracting errors. I found it to be a light-hearted spoof on the many, often incomprehensible human religions. The quotes at the start of each chapter were particularly enjoyable. I will definitely read more of this series. GWB
  • I hope there is a screenplay being written

    From Acookster
I love the books. That's not strong enough. I have read through them twice, and will a third time, biding my time until Death Wish comes out in a few weeks. I don't understand why there are glaring "errors" ie Downy Dale versus Downy Dave, but I suspect there might be rationale. Songs come on the radio and I match them up with scenes. I can't wait to see the next chapter in Lana's life, and pray to Khadijah there are more to come.
  • Excellent!

Really excellent! Great work! Looking forward to more by this writer.
  • A diamond in the rough

    From Hey judeqw
I did not expect to like this e-book as much as I did. As I got to know the main character Lana I really grew to like her sarcastic but truthful tone. I really wanted it to be longer or at least have a sequel. If there was one I would buy it in a heartbeat as long as it contained the same witty repartee that was so alive I. The first one. Nice job.
  • Interesting take on the afterlife!

    From Kacy2014
Relatable characters with their own set of flaws make this book a solid read! Recommended!
