  • A Fantastic Fantasy Novel

The Sorcery Code is a fantastic audiobook! Dima Zales – with help from the wonderful narration by Emily Durante – paints a compelling world full of intrigue, seduction, and action. There were many good, well-rounded characters throughout the book, and I greatly enjoyed that few of the characters can be pegged as good or evil. Everyone has their own agenda, and they'll go to any lengths to fulfil their goal. It's well worth a read if you're a fan of great fantasy stories, and I can't wait to get my hands on the sequels.
  • Amazing Story!

First of all - WOW! This is an amazing story. If you are looking for a world full of magic, mystery and epic battles (with just the right amount of romance and jealous ex-lovers mixed in), you NEED to listen to The Sorcery Code. The fantasy world that has been created here is amazingly complete. The story follows the beautiful and mysterious Gala, who is simply trying to understand her sudden consciousness, and the world she finds herself in. Along with her brilliant creator Blaise, with a dark past of his own, and some old friends, they find themselves being thrown into an incredible journey, being tailed by those who see Gala's incredible powers as a threat instead of a gift... From the telling of the overthrow of the old ruling class right down to the basics of sorcery code, I felt like I was a true observer into a living, breathing world, experiencing everything right along next to Gala - exploring a new and exciting land for the first time! Also - Life Captures, I so want to try one! Emily Durante as the narrator had me hanging onto every word! I love the way that she jumps into each character, giving each one a unique voice. I was especially impressed with her ability to switch between each different personality flawlessly from moment to moment, really bringing the words to life. Emily had me feeling every emotion that the characters did! Overall, very impressed! I can't wait to find out what Gala and Blaise will accomplish together in their upcoming adventures!
