Good reading. Intense. Sometimes it overwhelms the reader with tech talk. The author was changed and it shows in the writing. The characters behave differently. You get introduced to many new characters and the book sets up for sequel and I would read the sequel.
  • Great follow up

    From Montreal man
I really enjoyed this book. The author was really faithful to the original series by Sting Larsson. I do hope he continues to write the Salander story.
  • Nowhere near the trilogy

    From letendrec
Have devoured the three orginal books, i expected this fourth installment to be at least close. It wasn't. The storyline is predictable. The caracters are basically caricarutes of their former selves. The dialogue is not credible and doesn't flow. The descriptions and action scenes are uneven and weak. So if you expect a quite average story, with something resembling the Millenium caracters in it, you'll likethis book. If you expect anything more, you'll be disappointed, as I was.

David Lagercrantz did justice to the original first three books...I hope upon hope there's more! Hope the next one has a little more edge...Lisbeth is a lot tougher I think.
  • Disappointing

    From C.A.T.2120
I loved the Trilogy. Lisbeth was a force to be reckoned with, but she was under used & much too mellow in this story. Too many characters took away from what should've been a brilliant book. Won't be reading what may follow.

Not an apple that falls from the tree.Beside well known names, style and narration are different ,giving a feeling that it could be just well written book ,not necessary the follow up of the Trilogy. Meanwhile reading it, gives a lot of pleasure.Looking forward for the next one.

Had to keep reading to keep up with the pace. villain is a killer. Constantly kept off balance in a tech world I know so little. Characters names leave me in double suspense?? .? Yet I could hardly take a breath for fear I would miss something. Salander is my all time favourite hero. Does not disappoint!
